Below are the special events happening annually at Carpenter Nature Center.

 

Apple Blossom Races – choose from 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon or a 2K fun run.  Held on the 3rd Sunday in May – this year May 19, 2013.

 

Saint Croix Valley Scramble – enjoy a round of golf at Afton Alps Golf Course and raise money for CNC.  Held in July – this year July 22, 2013.

 

Autumn in the Valley – our annual fundraiser put on by CNC’s Board of Directors; live and silent auctions, raffles, good food, tours of the grounds and more.  Held the second Sunday in September.  This year- Sept 8, 2013.

 

Raptor Release – the Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota will use our site for their fall release of rehabilitated raptors.  This year – September 28, 2013.

 

Apple Fest – enjoy the fall bounty of apples, pumpkins, and squash as well as hay rides thru the orchard.  Baked goods and other items for sale – the apple salsa is superb.  Held the second weekend in October – this year Oct 12 and 13, 2013.
