This week, look for signs of spring. Compared to the start of the Frosty Forty in January, many of our favorite trails have already begun to change with the approaching spring. Noticing seasonal changes is a great introduction to phenology. You may decide to keep the fun going all year and start your own phenology calendar. Hike various trails on our Wisconsin campus and learn to identify birds with local experts from the St. Croix Valley Bird Club.
