Carpenter Nature Center protects 725 acres of natural and restored habitat and provides outdoor recreational and educational opportunities for more than 30,000 visitors each year. CNC charges only a small program fee to ensure access for everyone. We rely on our volunteers, along with individual and corporate friends and donors to stay open 361 days each year.

As a private, non-profit organization, Carpenter Nature Center heavily relies on donations from generous supporters. Your financial contribution helps keep our trails open and available to the public, allows us to continue our education and habitat work, and supports the physical and mental health of the community.

Help CNC “Spring Forward” to a bright future by donating to the Wisconsin Campus Expansion Project. Now through May 11th, GiveMN is hosting a SpringForward giving holiday, where every donation made to CNC enters us to win bonus money for the project. PLUS, starting May 1, all new gifts and pledge commitments made to the Wisconsin project will be MATCHED 2:1 by the Huss and Freund families. That’s means for every $50 raised, CNC gets an extra $25! This applies to all future gifts of the Wisconsin project, not just those made via GiveMN.

Carpenter Nature Center respects the privacy of its donors and does not disclose, sell, or exchange donor information to or with any person or any other entity unless required by law. We will, however, list donor names in the recognition rolls of the annual report and in a limited number of our other publications, unless a donor has chosen to make a gift anonymously.
