Join us next Fall as the University of Minnesota’s Raptor Center releases rehabilitated raptors to the water, prairie and forest of the Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center. Carpenter Nature Center is fortunate to be the host for the Fall Raptor Release, presented by the 3M Foundation in partnership with The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota and CNC. Visitors will enjoy watching 4-6 wild birds of prey take to the air after being rehabilitated by The Raptor Center’s veterinarians.
Saturday, September 28, 2019
The FREE event runs from 10 am – 3 pm, with bird releases at 11am and 2pm.
The day is full of fun including orchard hay wagon tours, educational raptors on display from The Raptor Center, kids activities and more. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the day, but for this event, please leave your pets at home.
