Raptor Release – POSTPONED
The Raptor Release, hosted at CNC in partnership with The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota, is being postponed until September 2021. This event draws thousands of people to CNC every year, and gatherings of that size are currently a threat to public health. Although we are saddened to be postponing this event, we are certain that it is in the best interest of our partner organizations, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
Join us September of 2021 as the University of Minnesota’s Raptor Center releases rehabilitated raptors to the water, prairie and forest of the Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center. Carpenter Nature Center is fortunate to be the host for the Fall Raptor Release, presented by the 3M Foundation in partnership with The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota and CNC. Visitors will enjoy watching 4-6 wild birds of prey take to the air after being rehabilitated by The Raptor Center’s veterinarians.
September 2021 event date TBD
