As a ‘Friend of CNC’, your financial contribution makes it possible for CNC:

  • to be free and open to the public 361 days per year.
  • to provide quality environmental education programs at significantly reduced fees.
  • to protect 725-acres of critical wildlife habitat on both sides of the St. Croix River.
  • to be an inspiring place for our community to connect with nature.

Individual Friend of CNC  $25-$49

  • The St. Croix Current Newsletter delivered by mail 3 times a year.
  • Invitation to the Volunteer & Friends appreciation potluck picnic.
  • Gift store, apple shack and program discounts for the individual.
  • Free snowshoe rentals for the individual from the Minnesota Campus. 6″ snow required.

Family Level Friends of CNC  $50-$99

  • All “Individual” benefits for immediate family members.
  • Gift store, apple shack and program discounts for immediate family members.
  • Free snowshoe rentals for the family from the Minnesota Campus. 6″ snow required.

Donor Level Friend of CNC  $100-$249

  • All “Family” benefits.
  • Published recognition in the Annual Report.

Patron Level Friend of CNC  $250-$499

  • All “Donor” benefits.
  • CNC boat pennant for use at the dock. Available upon request.

Benefactor Level Friend of CNC  $500-$999

  • All “Patron” benefits.
  • Invitation to exclusive events, such as our Masters of the Sky preview.

St. Croix Society Level Friend of CNC  $1,000-$2,999

  • All “Benefactor” benefits.
  • Cart tour for 5 people of the Minnesota campus with a CNC staff member. Available upon request.

Eagle Society Level Friend of CNC  $3,000-$4,999

  • All “St. Croix Society” benefits.
  • Complimentary program for 20 people. (Fair Market Value – $150) Available upon request.

The Director’s Council $5,000 & above

  • All “Eagle Society” benefits.
  • Complimentary lodge rental (Fair Market Value – $300) Available upon request.

Giving the Gift of CNC

Share your love of Carpenter Nature Center with a friend or loved ones by sponsoring their enrollment in the Friends of CNC program for a year.

When you give a gift enrollment, your loved one will be welcomed into the Friends of CNC family of dedicated individuals committed to habitat conservation, and creating accessible opportunities for environmental education and outdoor recreation in the community.

As a Friends of CNC, your gift recipient will also receive:

  • A welcome packet with a greeting card announcing your gift.
  • A one-year subscription to the St. Croix Current newsletter, published three times annually
  • Free snowshoe rentals, reduced or free admission to select CNC programs, and gift store and Apple Shack discounts.
  • Subscription to our monthly email newsletter with upcoming events, nature news, and timely updates on Carpenter Nature Center activities (optional)
