Homeschool Groups

Carpenter Nature Center’s Public Homeschool Programs are created to offer students in home schools an opportunity to meet other children, take part in environmental education programs, and enjoy the outdoors. Programs are offered throughout the school year with topics varying seasonally for children ages 5 – 9 or ages 10 years and older. Programs include an outdoor portion so dress appropriately for the weather. Reservations are required for all programs.

Homeschool program offerings change depending on the season; check our events calendar by clicking here to see what’s coming up.

If you would like to schedule a specific time and program for your group, you can choose from the Youth Community Programs, Preschool, or Elementary Program tabs. Please choose a program best suited for your groups age.

For more information, and to book a program, please call CNC and ask to speak with Program Director Mayme Johnson.
