Nature at Home: Pollinator Packs and Storytime

Join us for virtual Story Time and making a home for native bees!
Did you know that out of nearly 20,000 known species of bees, only about 10% are “social”, meaning they live in hives or nests? That means that most bees (90%!) are what are known as “solitary” bees. These bees do everything on their own from building nests to collecting pollen and nectar. For Story Time, we read a story called Bumblebee at Apple Tree Lane, and answered some questions about our “pick-up-packs” we gave out at CNC. If you didn’t have the chance to grab one of these free kits, follow instructions below for how to make your own!
