CNC’s Preschool Story Times are designed to introduce young children, ages 2 through 5 (with a parent or guardian), to nature in a fun and safe environment. Story Times will be conducted in a slightly different format in the coming months.

The story will be read outside between 9:30AM – 12:00PM, with families rotating in groups of ten or fewer each 15 minutes. We highly encourage pre-registering so we can ensure there are fewer than 10 people gathered for each time-slot. Participants will then be encouraged to explore the nature center with a suggested outside activity related to the story. They can meet some animal ambassadors, and will be given a craft which they can complete at home. Please note that these Story Times will be conducted entirely outdoors. Restroom usage will be limited to emergencies only.

These modified Story Times are Pay-As-You-Can. We are understanding of challenging financial times, and appreciate any donations.
