CNC’s Preschool Story Times are designed to introduce young children, ages 2 through 5 (with a parent or guardian), to nature in a fun and safe environment. Story Times will be conducted in a slightly different format in the coming months.

The story will be read between 9:30AM – 11:00AM, with families rotating in groups of 10 or fewer each 15 minutes. We highly encourage pre-registering so we can ensure there are fewer than 10 people gathered for each time-slot. Participants will then encouraged to explore the nature center with a suggested outside activity related to the story. They can meet some animal ambassadors, and will be given a craft which they can complete at home. Costumes encouraged!

Please note that these Story Times will be conducted mostly outdoors.

The program costs $5/per child or $3/per child for “Friends of CNC”
