CNC’s Preschool Story Times are designed to introduce young children, ages 2 through 5 (with a parent or guardian), to nature in a fun and safe environment. Story Times will be conducted in a slightly different format in the coming months.

The story will be read outside between 9:30AM – 12:00PM, with families rotating in groups of 10 or fewer each 15 minutes. We highly encourage pre-registering so we can ensure there are fewer than 10 people gathered for each time-slot. Participants will then encouraged to explore the nature center with a suggested outside activity related to the story. They can meet some animal ambassadors, and will be given a craft which they can complete at home.
Please note that these Story Times will be conducted entirely outdoors. Restroom usage will be limited to emergencies only.
