Join Washington Conservation District Landscape Restoration Specialist Tara Kelly to learn the ins and outs of native seed collection. Explore the prairie at CNC’s Minnesota campus while learning to identify native species and how to harvest seed. This is a great family event, perfect for all ages. Seed collection plays a vital role in the continued habitat management of Minnesota’s beautiful native prairies. The seed collected will be used to increase biodiversity throughout the CNC prairies.

This event is FREE. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather; we will be walking through tall grass. Please bring water and work gloves if you have them.
