Although students will likely not be able to participate in field trips with their schools this autumn, we are making our usual school group programming available for the public to attend on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays this fall.
These programs are designed to address graduation standards, support classroom or distance learning, and are a fun opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature. Majority of programming is outdoors and is weather dependent.
In this class we will learn about the apple tree life cycle, pick our own apples, and taste some fresh-pressed cider.
The cost for these programs will be $5 per person, with a maximum of $20 per family unit. Orchard classes will include optional additional costs for adults wishing to pick additional apples to bring home. Prices are $10 for a 5 pound bag, or $20 for a 10 pound bag.
Reservations are required to keep group sizes small. Scholarships available!
