Home School: Change of Seasons & Weather and Phenology

Students ages 5 – 9 will discover seasonal changes in nature by going on a phenology hike and observing live animals that either migrate, hibernate or adapt to get ready for winter.

Students ages 10 and older will use meteorology equipment to analyze the current weather conditions and make a forecast. They will also look at how the weather affects plants and animals and compare phenology data with previous years.

The majority of this program will be outside so dress appropriately for the weather. Parents are welcome to stay with their children but not required. Call 651-437-4359 to make a reservation. Program fee: $5.00 per student or $3.00 for “Friends of CNC”
